| I just purchased a new YHM16" Black Diamond Spectre Upper package. It's the carbine gas system. I put on a Vltor A1 Rifle Modstock but didn't like the looks of the 5 position receiver extension. So I put on the standard rifle buffer tube and like the cleaner set up. Now what buffer and spring combo is going to be the best to cycle my upper reliably ? |

You have a rifle receiver extension now, I'd stick with a rifle buffer and a rifle action spring.
A rifle buffer is right between an H2 and an H3 carbine buffer, so it should cycle fine in your rifle. However, if you do decide to stick with carbine parts, you can buy a polymer spacer from RRA that goes inside your buffer tube to make up for the different lengths of the carbine and rifle buffer parts. |
