Howdy yall

Sending money out today for a Vortex Razor HD 5-20 to sit on top of my 308 AR.  What would you recommend for a detachable mount for this setup?  Should I look into a 20moa built in?  Goal is to reach 1000.  Tube size is 35mm.

What say you?!

Nice scope.  Can you do a quick review when you get it?  Which .308 rifle do you have just wondering?

I'm using a Burris PEPR Q.D. mounted to Nightforce 3.5-16 on my .308 - love it so far.  But I don't think they make 35mm mounts.

People who uses Larue scope mounts on here, give positive reviews.  Check those out.  You have a very nice scope so I think it deserves a top quality scope mount.

I'm biased as I currently have 3 La Rue quick release mounts, and getting ready to order a 4th here soon.  Go La Rue, you will not regret it.  They are rock solid, return to zero every time and have both great fit and finish.

We generally recommend ADM QD mounts.  Great return to zero ratio from our experience.  They also have a one piece that has 20 MOA built in.

I run this larue in 30mm, they also make it in 35mm
It has 10moa built in.

I used the VFZ mount due to not needing QD

I've generally found that, when mounting options, if LaRue is an option then LaRue is the answer.

Bobro and ADM also make fine QD mounts.

forgot to mention Larue is prefered with me so it sounds like we are all on the same page.

Which model would you recommend to get the Razor down as close to the top picatinny rail??

Just for backround it is a JD Machine DPMS high profile reciever w/ Troy TRX rail
