I have a Syrac ordinance adjustable gas block on my 3 gun rifle.  This is an aluminum carriered race gun.  The Syrac goes from non functional to full function in a single click (1/4 turn)

I am thinking about moving it to my hunting rig - a 6.8 ARP with a removable can.  I have a set screw gas block on it now and it is NOT easy to adjust.  I have to remove the rail to get to it.  If I put the Syrac on the 6.8 it should only take a click or two to adjust anything in or out of the rifle.

If I do this, what would be a good choice for my go fast 3 gun rig? Fine tuning is desired.  I know SLR is popular and Odin works has come out with a very economical gas block.  Obviously, I need front adjustable.

Syrac - course adjustment, but has worked fine

SLR - popular, but I don't have one to know why

Odin Works - new kid on the block.  I know nothing about it. EDIT.  REAR ADJUSTABLE....OOPS.

I have a titanium SLR has block. My first adjustable gas block.

With that being said, I love it.

Aside from the awesome fit and finish, the part I like is the adjustment screw is front facing and has a very distinct click with every quester turn. I believe it has 17 settings, from completely closed to complete open. So finding just the right amount of gas for your rifle to function is pretty easy and repeatable if you count and log your clicks.

+1 I have an slr on my 8.5 300blk and just ordered one for my 18" 3gun build. Good price here on the slr. I considered the titanium but didnt think the few grams of weight savings justified the price difference.. Slr has the best customer service Ive experienced from any MFG in this industry.

The Syrac Gen II has 16 detent clicks from full closed to full open.  Takes 4 complete turns to do that.  My 308 is open 6 clicks from the closed position for perfect cycling.
