Anvil Arms lowers are a notch above what I saw when I was looking for lowers... I decided to get a couple, and then bought one of their complete uppers, So in effect I have an Anvil Arms carbine that has been FLAWLESS in every respect. I looked at the POF about a year ago thinking a "billet" lower would be better "yada-yada-yada" ... and I remember reading somewhere that a "forged" lower is actually stronger, don't remember the particulars though. Buy the Anvil Arms and use the left over money to take yourself and someone else to dinner.... |
| Just about any forged lower is good to go. Some are a little prettier then others, some have a Teflon finish applied over the typeIII HCA and there are some other small differences between them but in the end, they all work just as well as the next. Just get the cheapest one you can find or get the one that floats your boat the most depending on which criteria is more important to you |
| i see the Anvil arms lowers all the time at the Local gun shows. they show up at all of them since they are just down the road in Lakeland. The lowers look top notch, and the free laser engraving on the side is a plus. some of the photo's they have of some they did are out right hillarious |
fixed it for ya |

I highly recommend RRA. Pete (Legal Transfers) has the best price I've seen. Go here. eta. I just noticed while posting the link his price went up a couple bucks. Darn. |
