I have my completed M4 and I was wondering if I shoulf get rid of the lower and buy aspikes. The one I have now is a CMMG is there really a difference between the 2? I have a spikes upper and was thinking of making it a complete spikes.

No real difference, they will both function the same. Only do it if you like the stamp on the Spikes that much more than the CMMG that you're willing to go through the trouble.

I say keep it as is for now, then when you get another AR, get a spikes lower if you want them to match, and build off of your CMMG lower. TYPICALLY a lower is a lower is a lower. The only real differences that I know of would be billet vs normal (forged?). Beyond that you are looking at some very specific differences like high or low shelf (for using a drop in auto sear) composite materials for a lightweight build, different finishes and other company specific options/details.
