I recently added a Colt 6920 to my collection, so am now thinking about selling one of my other ARs to free up some vault space/cash. The other two are a Bushmaster 16" Patrol Carbine and a 20" Colt MT 6700. The Colt is a late 90s model, so fixed stock, large pins, no FH, no bayonet lug.  I certainly like the idea of two Colts, but the parts incompatibility is a bit of a sticking point.

Which would you get rid off?

Thanks,
Mike

Bush master...the 20" is a nice chsnge and the psrts issue can be overcome in te aftermarket.

I would sell both and buy something else.

I don't care for Bushmaster, at all, or the big pin Colts. I have owned both.

Definitely an option. Suggestions for a nice replacement that would go well with the 6920 are always appreciated.

11.5" SBR, 18" SPR, or 24" Varmint/Bench.  Depends on what kind of shooting you like to do.

It might be cheaper to sell parts off the Bushmaster and replace them with whatever is more appropriate.

Sell both, buy a quality 18" or 20" precision AR to go with your Carbine.

I'd sell the bushy first since the 6920 can replace it.
as for the other Pony... Colt barrels are usually great in my experience... you can keep it and build a SPR style rifle or replace the original barrel with a M16 one and build a M16A4 clone

but the parts incompatibility is a bit of a sticking point

if the only large pins of that 6700 are the FCG ones then it's not an issue IMHO.

Backups are always good. A little boring, but good.  Having 2 6920s might be nice.

I've also thought about adding a .308 AR, but obviously, that throws compatibility and redundancy out the window. It also seems to enter a whole new realm of crazy in terms of cost.

Sell them both and pick up some top of the line optics for your remaining rifle

I think everyone should have at least one SBR, but a can would be great as well. It is your money and there are lots of options out there.
