They're two different tools.  I have the top one from Bushmaster and like it, it's more versatile.

What is the purpose the tool will fit?

If you will never install/replace the barrel, and you need a castle nut wrench... get the Spikes.  If you do not have a barrel wrench and you will do castle nut and barrel work get the one on top.

The one from spike looks like a Ninja's tool of destruction.

I just bought one of the spikes.  How much does the combo wrench cost?

The combo is $30, the spikes is $20.

Doing a full build, so I will need the combo, but the spikes just looks cool!

It may look cool but a bit of a ripoff. Bushmaster sells the castle nut tool for only $6.50. Might as well go with their multipurpose tool instead for just $10 more.

I wouldn't call it a rip off, but isn't an absolute need.

It's something I would say has a visual value, if it had both tools in one, I would pay extra for it.
