[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which upper now

I am planning on picking up one more upper to mate with my last complete lower.

Since finding this site, I have become a collector of sorts and am wondering which upper I should go with.

I currently have:

3- 14.5" Gov profile M4 type carbines with phantoms.
1- Sabre Gov profile middy
1- CMMG Stainless medcon middy
1- Stag 16" M4 type
2- 20" Gov profile Bushies.
1- 20"HBAR Armalite

I am looking either at a CMMG stainless or regular 20" upper. Medcon or Gov profile. Or maybe a Bushy HBAR. Don't really like dissys and pretty sure I want a 20" barrel.

What say you..

Although I voted for getting another Sabre, You should build an SP1 or similar old school AR like AKARS suggested!!

it seems you want a 20" at least, so i'd go for a CMMG or a bushy 20 govt profile

Basically just another in the collection. This will give me 10, so when I am gone, my 2 sons will have 5 each. Then they can pass them on to their kids.

ok, going with a CMMG 20 incher, what do you think about the full auto carrier upgrade since it's free? I don't have one right now. If I order this am I going to have to go back and replace all my others? I can't stand this....too much money..

Thinking if I get the semi, I won't know what I am missing....

Edit: Think I screwed up on the poll, can't find a stainless Medcon on CMMG's site.

Agreed. I don't think CMMG has 20" stainless bbls. available - MedCon or otherwise. Could be mistaken though.

If they did / do then a 20" stainless medium contour would be my first choice (based on your list) followed by a 20" stainless gov't profile after that.
