I'm think my next build may be completed as a mid length. I've seen pictures posted here and a retro mid length is a pretty slick looking set up.

So, my question is who here has converted a standard set of rifle length triangular hand guards into mid length and how did you do it?

I started a thread and showed how I did it but I can't find it now. Must be archived. I can't search the archives so I must need to renew my membership.

I have a pile of rear caps if you don't want to spend a lot of time.
or
lots of trial and error cut and paste.

Have fun wear a dust mask they are made of asbestos.
