Hi!!

I'm planning on putting together a AR-15 9mm carbine, but the only barrels I seen advertised are the "heavy" or the "half and half"... light profile at the front end with a heavy to the rear barrels.  I would like to find 16" light weight barrel for the "Colt" look.

If not availible, would it be "reasonable" to have a RRA heavy profile  barrel "turned down" to a light weight profile??  If so, any ideals on who can/will do this.

Thanks!!

Check out the industry section.

Adco has a shop/services section that has prices listed and it looks like what you want would run $64 or $94 assuming that the upper is dis-assembled.

I had Adco turn down (& thread) my Oly 45, they did a great job.

You might be able to find a Colt barrel, but it'd be pricey. Easiest way is simply to buy a Colt 6450 gun and be done with it. :)
