the least expensive, quailty lpk for the AR? Is the quality all the same or do you get what you pay for?

Tough call on "quality". For me, it's Pete @ Legal Transfers.

ETA: No. All are not the same, just as anything in life. For me, it's RRA's, then Stag. Others like DPMS for the $$$. I just am not impressed with their quality.

LAR = CMMG receivers

Its my understanding that Stag is CMT, so technically they do make their own.

I thought they were just different divisions of the same company, in that CMT is the military contract side and Stag is the civilian side. Did I get it right?

Yes. CMT started Stag for the civ sale side of the hootch.
