| Trying to justify spending $200 for a nice QD mount, when I can get rings for much cheaper. Why do you guys buy QD other than for BUIS usage? |

Having QD mounts makes it easier to swap between different optics, such as red dot to 1-4x. Also makes it easy to store the weapon with the optics removed and not have to worry about return to zero.
If you don't have either of these needs, and the optic will always stay attached to the weapon there is no reason to go with a QD. |

As stated the only reason is if you plan on taking off the optics or moving a specific optic from platform to platform. |
