Never heard of it...  Which lens - objective, eyepiece or both?

Copperhead was asking which glass gets dirty when this happens. Objective (muzzle end), eyepiece (glass closest to your eye), or both?

I have a TA50-6 and both of my lenses have been dirty and dusty without any problems.  You can tell the lenses need cleaning but the dot has never looked distorted.

Just my .02

It was both at the time, but it may have just been one causing it, I dont know, but the glowing X took up practicially tube.

I am by  no means a scope expert, but my gut tells me it has nothing to do with the external dust   usless your scope is somehow no longer hermetically sealed.  Even then, I'm not sure it would have the impact to cause something like this.  The problem has got to be internal and therefore you need to discuss it with or send it to Trijicon ricky tick...  My $.02 though...
