I want to use a RRA 18inch Varmint barrel (.920) under a Daniel Defense 10.0 or 12.0 Lite Quad Rail. Will the CMMG Inc. .937 micro gas block fit under this rail without any interference??

Does anyone see any reason this won't work.

Anybody have a picture of a similar set up?

I had to have the barrel nut opened up on a YHM FF tube to get it over the step behind the gas block on a RR varmit barrel. You may run into the same thing. I think the barrel under the handguard on those barrels is something like 1 1/16". Something to think about although I don't know about the gas block/handguard clearance.

Thanks, I didn't think of the barrel nut not fitting over the barrel. The Rock River web page says the barrel diameter in front of the gas block is .920 and 1.050 under the handguard.

There must be someone out there with a similar set-up! Anybody have the dimensions of the Daniel Defense Lite qual rail barrel nut and bolt up plate? Thanks, BRC

THe CMMG 0.936 micro block fits under the DD just fine. Our barrels are 1.00 at the extension and the DD fits that fine as well.
