Do mean a Wilson barrel blank, or one that has been turned into a barrel?  Wilson sells barrel blanks to suppliers. They, like M&A and Model 1, turn the blanks and chamber the barrels and install the extension and front sight.

Bottom line is that all barrels start as just a rifled large tube/blanks, and then are sent off to be finished.  The finished barrel is determined by who produces it in it's finished state, and how well the finished was performed.

Ive had my Wilson (S.S. 24" 1-8 twist)for about 4yrs( I purchased from Model 1 ) and always had inconsitant patterns at 100yds,match ammo or my own reloads(Leopold scope).
It wasnt till I purchased My upper(shaw barrel) from J-T sales, that I was able to get 85 percent better patterns at 100 or 300 yds,I havent shot at 400 yet.
