Do mean a Wilson barrel blank, or one that has been turned into a barrel? Wilson sells barrel blanks to suppliers. They, like M&A and Model 1, turn the blanks and chamber the barrels and install the extension and front sight. Bottom line is that all barrels start as just a rifled large tube/blanks, and then are sent off to be finished. The finished barrel is determined by who produces it in it's finished state, and how well the finished was performed. |

Gunrunner Ive had my Wilson (S.S. 24" 1-8 twist)for about 4yrs( I purchased from Model 1 ) and always had inconsitant patterns at 100yds,match ammo or my own reloads(Leopold scope). It wasnt till I purchased My upper(shaw barrel) from J-T sales,that I was able to get 85 percent better patterns at 100 or 300 yds,I havent shot at 400 yet. |
