| Apoligize up front if this is wrong forum, but last week in Texas I used Razorback ammo in both 223 and 308 on hogs in Eagle Pass. The ammo, 150 grain in .308, shot to about the same zero as 150 grain ballistic tip in my Rem 700 SPS. Shot one hog at @110 yards, hit in neck behind/above jaw, put it down with no issues. Second hog hit w/ my AR @ about 50 yards, harder shot, but same bullet placement...double tapped, but both in the head. Penetration was awesome, clean kill. Shot placement about the same with both animals...and 223 was as good as the 308. The 223 functioned fine in my M-4 configured Bushmaster and shot to the 62 grain FMJ zero...Small sample size, but the ammo is good stuff...v/r Walt K |

Have you read this thread? It seems the 223 razorback didn't look as good in the gel test slab as TSX and GMX. I'm not saying this negates your experience.
