I made an order with them about 3 weeks ago. Made 1 order. I received 3 different boxes. My experience has not been pleasurable with them thus far. Has anyone had this issue with them. So far I am missing 5 parts. They are on the invoice that was included with my order, but the parts aren't there. I was also shipped additional items I did not order..

So far I am missing:

1 Magpul MOE Adjustable Stock
1 Pivot Pin
1 Safety Selector Detent
2 Take Down/Pivot pin detent
1 Take Down Pin

What I didn't order but received:

1 short carbine gas tubes
2 cam bolts
2 firing pins
1 magpul vertical grip
1 ejector port assembly kit
1 forward assist assembly kit

Try posting this in the Industry forum for Windham Weaponry and I am sure that Eric will reply to you.

Ive had a very good experience with them.  I placed a random order for a bolt carrier they did not have in stock (for no real reason) 4 weeks ago and actually shipped this week.  I was totally expecting to never see it.

A few weeks isn't bad, if they are just backordered.  Many of us have horror stories from other vendors over the last 90 days if you want to hear them.

The Windham guys seem pretty cool, you should get an answer over in their Industry forum.

Ordered a stripped bolt carrier and hammer, trigger, disconnector and springs, and pins fully expecting to get them sometime after never. Received a cc charge after about a week for most of the small parts (either springs or pins had not shipped) and before I got the box at the post office there was another charge for the other small parts. So ~2 weeks for everything except the bolt carrier. I'm content, and would order again.

When will I get the bolt carrier? Eh, who knows? But unless I want to pay $150 for a Phase 5, I'll just wait and save money for another complete BCM or RCA.

ETA: AFAIK, there is no order status or shipping update on their site. The only notice I got was the cc charge. Place your order and pray/wait.

I pieced together a small LPK with Windham for $48. It was delivered within 2 weeks of the order, the parts were quality, and every part was individually bagged. My experience with Windham was great.

ordered some "put together lpk's" all parts showed in stock, and were delivered within a week, the bad news was 2 separate shipments with an 18.00 shipping charge on both, took a the price up a bit by doing that, will order from midway next time.

I pieced together a fire control group to complete my lower built kit from PSA.  Ordered it on 2/11, received it yesterday.  Haven't checked out the parts yet, but they arrived quick enough.  Only (slight) problem I had is they didn't send out a shipping confirmation when it shipped.

That's really too bad you had that experience with Windham. Like someone else said, post in the Industry section and they will probably fix everything for you. If you got all that stuff you didn't order, it sounds like something got messed up and someone else probably has your parts.

I've had only great experiences with Windham. Their website inventory is live which is a huge plus, and they shipped very quickly to me, nicely bagged and really nice parts. They are always talking about their attitude for good customer service, have you tried to call them about this problem?

Yeah, another vote for moving to the industry forum.

Who knows, maybe you can sweet talk them and talk them into letting you keep all the extra shit they sent you. You know, for the inconvenience?

The first step I would take is to call or email Windham directly. I'm sure they will take care of the error.

Well now I know where my order went.

So fare they have been one the ball with me. Other then the lost order that they said was shipped.

There site is what others in the Ind. needs to be. I won't throw stones, but some of the above and below companys need to get there shit toghter in the I.T. dept. And get updated to 2010 level.

I spoke too soon.  I opened my package up today at lunch to combine it with my PSA kit that came in, and I'm missing a trigger/hammer pin.  I hope I don't have to wait 2 weeks for another one.

KNS is always an option.

But I ordered a couple FCG. Maybe I got your extra pins lol.

I'm not mad or anything, just disappointed I understand the times, chaos, I expect shipping delays, but 2 of the 3 boxes the sent me had the wrong items and missing items. I will take everyone's advice and post in the industry section. Thanks guys.

Same here. I piecemealed an order off their site for an upper parts kit as well as pins, springs, etc. to build a LPK around a Geiselle SSA and magpul selector I already had. While I was at it, I ordered duplicate pins/springs just to restock the spares. Total was around $110 with shipping and I received the order in about 2-1/2 weeks. Considering a CMMG LPK will run you $150 if you can find one, I really can't complain about Windham, especially in this climate.

After reading all the other posts, I'm thinking the OP is in the minority. (Although I do sympathize. That would be frustrating.)

Wanted to update this post.  I called them about the missing hammer/trigger pin. On their site ( http://www.windhamweaponry.com/shopexd.asp?id=51 ) it shows a picture of 2 pins, but says below that they're sold individually.  Well, I didn't read the page clearly.  They said don't worry about it, we'll send another one out to you free of charge.

Thumbs up to Windham Weaponry
