I just had my first experience with Wipe Out. I cleaned a gun with Sweets 7.62 and thought it was clean. I then foamed with Wipe Out and let sit overnight. I was shocked at what came out with first patch. Second patch still had a little blue from copper on it so I foamed it again and let it sit fot a hour. Patched it out until patch came out clean. I never saw a bore so bright before. I am sold on this stuff and will buy it again when my first can is empty. Also, I did use the Wipe Out accelerator, before each foaming. schom |

The stuff works GREAT. It is what most of the 6mmBR benchrest shooters are using also. They really like it because it gets your bore really clean AND you don't have to brush your bore. Even a small scratch from a bronze brush on the crown of your barrel can change your accuracy. Most ARFCOMers aren't worried about 1-hole accuracy but if there is a product (wipe out) that will clean the hell out of your bore and keep you shooting straighter then it sounds great to me. |
