| When a place has Wolf .223 ammo listed will it be poly coated? I was just wondering if all the laquer was used up or if I needed to call to make sure. |

There hasn't been any Wolf lacquered imported in about two years. HOWEVER - Centerfire has recently discovered a stash of the older lacquered stuff, so that's one place that's selling some more. The lacquered Wolf ought to perform the same though. If your gun runs poly Wolf, I'm pretty sure it'll run the laquered stuff too. |

All of my AR's work fine with wolf but I stopped shooting it several years ago as there was better ammo out there for a little bit more money. Those days are gone so I'm going to place an order for wolf to shoot this spring instead of useing my better ammo. The thing I noticed shooting the laquer wolf was how gummy my bolt face got around the extractor and I was hopeing the poly stuff wouldn't require as much effort cleaning. ETA: The dealer that started my AR sickness many years ago called and offered me his last three cases @ $147 per/k and that is what got me thinking about shooting it again. |
| All wolf is pretty dirty, but cleaning my AR just gives me somethinig to do anyway. I have started shooting a lot of it and have had no problems with jamming or malfunctions. I have been runnig a lot of it lately. Price talks, I got lucky and found my local hardware store has a little gun counter at it. I was talking with the guy there abouit varmint rounds and started talking about the prices have been on the rise. I have 1k on the way, ordered from him for 145 bucks. I just have to drive 6 miles to get it. I am in PA and that price is a round up with tax included. |
