I know that running brass cased ammo after lacquer cased ammo without cleaning will lead to stuck cases in the chamber.  However, what about the polymer cased ammo?  Can you run brass after polymer cases in an AR without cleaning first?

i thought the "lacquer myth" had been busted a long time ago.

its an issue with the expansion of the shell casing.

brass is softer than steel and can "Expand" to seal the  chamber better than steel casing, reducing blowback of dirty crap that causes those issues.

please correct me if im wrong, btw

I personally never had a problem switching between brass and steel.  Now shooting a lot of steel in one sitting the chamber gets really dirty and I have had stuck cases at that time.  Never when switching from brass to steel and vice versa.
