I am thinking of getteing either a 6.5 grendel or 50 beowulf. I already have a 308,5.45,458s and piston vs gas. So I am just looking at a new toy. What are the advantages and disadvantages of either

i have both 6.5 grendel long range tac driver. 50 beowulf more of a gun that just puts a smile on your face when shooting.
ammo for grendel is getting easier to get and beowulf is still hard to get. helps to be a reloader with either

Considering what you already have, i think grendel in a 20" would be a good purchase, unless you decide to sell your 458 and utilize the 50. Dont waste your time with a piston gun unless it is something you see hanging around for a while. I always worry about proporitary parts not becoming available when you need them.

That reminds me, Barrett is having a sale on the REC7 6.8 SPC upper in piston gas.

I already have a Rec 7 6.8 it is a great gun. I am thinking more of the 6.5 the 50 would be cool but i already have the 458. I see that the 50 is kind of hard to find ammo for
