Generally you'd be better off spending the extra money for an ARMS 40, Troy BUIS, or LaRue BUIS.

The YHM buis are simple, rugged and dependable; if you want to give one a try let me know. If for any reason you're unhappy with it I have a no hassle return policy.

I haven't tried each and every BUIS version out there, but I had a BMAS version that is actually YMH made unit, on my Bushmaster 25th Anniv. Edition and it worked great for me. It was very sturdy, and dependable, and well made. I still have one I bought used here at the EE I don't use much since it won't fit directly under my TA01 ACOG. That is about the only true downside I can think of.

The YHM BUIS is a solid unit.

My preferred BUIS is an A2 carry handle.
