Actually a question about the endcaps. They have 2 to choose from on the Bravo company website. One is 15/16" and the other is 1 1/16".

Im just not sure which to buy. I am buying 2 sets. One for a middy with a HBAR and the other for a Carbine with a light prfile barrel.

What do I measure to decide which size I need?

The diameter of the barrel.  The size is the ID of the cap.  So make sure whichever one you get is larger than the OD of your barrel.

Standard .750 barrel uses the 15/16 end cap.  Bull barrels (.920 I think?) use the 1 1/16 end cap.

Do you need to remove the flash hider?

If it's bigger than the endcap then yes.

yes you will need to remove the flash supressor/hider

you need to remove your front sight or gas block as well.

if you are mounting the 7in onto a 16 in barrel, the size goes off of the diameter just behind the gas block/front sight where it is slightly larger.

the standard m4 contour barrel will be fine with the smaller cap and your standard heavy will be fine with the larger end cap.
