I am working on a trade with someone who has offered a YHM complete multi caliber upper. The only problem is I have not heard of this or know anything about it. Ive searched everywhere.
He says it will take all common calibers, 9mm, .40., .45, 7.62x39 and of course 5.56/.223. Does anyone know anything about this, or have one? All I need is 5.56, but if this thing is for real and reliable it would be cool to have the extra versatility, I just dont want to get a bad or slighted product.

Thanks in advance.

You sure you're not talking about a lower?

No such thing as a multi cal upper, unless it's an upper and a bunch of different barrels and bolts.

If you do mean lower, all lower receivers are capable of being built into any of those calibers.

I've never seen one but I think I've read YHM receivers are gtg.

Hello,

The YHM complete multi caliber RECEIVER can the will take all common calibers, 9mm, .40., .45, 7.62x39 and 5.56 / .223.

The UPPERS are barrel specific to the caliber.

Woops, youre right, I meant to say lower. Sorry for the confusion.
So this would be a solid lower, and work well for just a 5.56 upper?

Thanks alot.

Basically it's a roll mark on the side that says "Multi Caliber" instead of "5.56/.223" or "9mm"

I picked one up at the beginning of November - GREAT quality lower.  Very nice fit and finish, a little larger magwell chamfer than some others out there, and overall just a great lower.  You won't be disappointed with it, I'd bet.
