| So I bought a completed upper from Del-ton and built my own lower. topped it off with a Bushnell Holo but now I want longer range without giving up my Holo sight. Is there anyway that I can rotate my YHM light weight FF hand guard at a 45 degree angle. that way I can mount my Holo on the rail, and my magnified optics on the receiver? |
This may also take a tool or two. Maybe a turning action. Perhaps a cheap harbor freight strap wrench. You could ignore this and just shoot it gangsta style with the holo site at 90 degrees. |
You just need a flat blad screwdriver, and something to tap with with - to loosen the lock ring on a YHM. Then - if it has the locking screws - unscrew them, and rotate the tube. Tighten locking screws, and then tighten lock ring. If you have a flat blade screwriver, and something to tap it with, that is all you need. But I am all about the gansta style.
