I've read all threads on FSB and F Marked FSB's that I could get my fingers on. So, let's say you have a non f marked FSB with a flat top receiver. Can you skip buying a taller front sight post and just use a rear BUIS with elevation adjustment in order to compensate?

I gather it's a case by case...won't know until you try kind of thing. I was able to zero without buying a taller front post but a few more clicks up and I would have had to.

You might be able to just change the front site post height, but you dont want that think too far out of place. It would look weird...
