| ok so i did try searching for the answer first, hmmm no luck so here i am yet again. so heres my question, i am changing my fixed stock to an adjustable which will be pinned at a later date (NY). the buffer tube on my SW15 is really long, the ones i am looking at are much shorter, do i have to get an entire buffer kit to convert this or just the tube? will the spring and buffer i have work in the shorter tube? thanks for the help guys, you always seem to give great info. also open to reccommendations on buffer kits if i need to go that route. |

Do you have a rifle length buffer tube on it now? if your putting a collapsible stock tube on it, it requires a different (carbine) buffer and spring. |
