| Zeiss makes top notch optics. Sounds like you are looking at the Conquest. A buddy has one of those on a hunting rifle and it is excellent. Zeiss doesn't get much mention around here because they aren't too "tactical" (though many of there scopes are available with mil dot reticles now). Well known for decades in the hunting community as among the best scopes available. |

I bought the 4x14x44 with mil dot and target knobs in November. I never mounted it as the parallex knob was not smooth and hard to turn. Sent it to zess and they sent me a scope without target knobs. They overnighted me the correct scope the next day but it was like the first one hard to turn and not smooth. The one without target knobs is smooth as glass. Sending them both back today. They are going to get me one thats right. They have been nice but its been over a month now. If the glass wasn't so tack sharp and bright I would probably say forget it. I paid 800 at Bear Basin. The target knobs are 100 option. JRandyH |
