How many rounds does it take most of you to zero your irons on a brand new AR build? |
That’s like asking how many sheets of toilet paper it takes to wipe my bung hole. It all depends on how good you are!   My suggestion would be to go here, Manuals & Downloads and download FM 23-9 (2.8MB PDF). In it you will find vast amounts of information that will aide you in better understanding your rifle, basic marksmanship fundamentals and zeroing procedures. I’m not trying to be a smart ass with the toilet paper comment but there are so many variables to zeroing a weapon that each person will be different. And it really boils down to how good that person is at the fundamentals. Here’s a couple excerpts from the FM enforcing what I mean.
