Since the 40L does not have an elevation adjustment how exactly do you zero it in.  I know you use the front sight for elevation, but at what range and what type of target should I use?  Do I go ahead and use the 25m target and use the large aperture?  Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is my first AR.

Thanks,

Use the small aperture and zero it at 50 for best trajectory.

As Phoebus said, a 50 yard zero works well.  If you zero at less than 40 yards you get too much of a rainbow trajectory.
