I finally got my Anvil Arms upper receiver yesterday so that I could finally complete my first build.

The Lower is made by Anvil Arms and I installed a RRA dual stage trigger.

The Upper is also made by Anvil Arms.  I then put on a Denny's 16" Operator barrel, with a FSC556 flash suppressor.  A LaRue lopro gas block went underneath the LaRue 13.2 rail.  A BCM BCG and a Gas Buster charging handle fit inside the receiver.

There is absolutely no wiggle between the upper and lower.  The finish of the upper and lower is also an exact match.

I have to admit that I was kind of nervous when I first pulled the trigger...(no KB)...:-)

She then went on to eat 90 rounds of Prvi and then she was fed 20 rounds of my relaods.  Not one FTF or FTE and the bolt locked back after each last round.

Then I shot about 40 rounds of Prvi 75gr Match at a lased 105 yrds.  Then it got completely dark, so I had to stop shooting...but the gun kept on running...

Both Jon at Anvil Arms and Denny at Global Tactical make superior products....

Not only does he do great work...he is also fast.  He built me another (before this one) Operator complete upper...and it was shipped the same day that I ordered it...So what are the problems with all this "wait time" with other brands?...:-)

This gun has just gone through over 750 rounds (mainly cheap Brown Bear, yes lacquered) and she did not miss a beat....

Funny, for reasons that I do not understand...this barrel ran cooler for the same number of rounds as compared to my 16" N4 barrel (same day, side by side comparison, unscientific finger test by the muzzle break).  I talked to Denny about this...and he said that it was due to the lower sulfur content of his barrel blanks...

Great barrel, hooked up to some nice parts...

I'm glad I'm not limited to owning just one AR, but If I could only have one it would be a very similar build.  IMO, that looks like a very versatile setup.
