They cost me $25 up here. Man, I'd like to find 'em for $13.

Consider this: Several months ago, my local FFL had Colt 20 rounders in his store at about 85-90% finish. Retal price? $29.99

I told him he was on crack. He told me not to buy any. I told him I didn't intend to.

The surplus store down the street just got in USGIs with better than 85% finish, probably low 90% range, for $13+tax.  I bought 2.

Is this a decent price and should I buy more, just incase the '94 ban doesn't sunset?

Thanks!

That's a great price, provided:

A. They're not postbans, and;
B. No dings, dents, feed lip cracks, or broken floorplates/floorplate tabs.

On second thought... No, they suck, terrible price, send them all to me [;)]

I was at the Dallas Market Hall show a couple of weeks ago, and all I could find were dinged <25% mags with *bad* feed lip cracks for $10.00.  Non-cracked dinged mags were $28.00 with 50% finish, what a deal [:(!]

I also learned from a dealer in "FN" barreled uppers that "...these barrels don't have chrome linings because we like to make sure we hit what we're shooting at."  Whatever.

Did you laugh out loud in his face? I would have.

AMH,
That's a pretty good deal, man.

GoGators,

I felt like laughing out loud, but there's no percentage into getting into arguments with fools and/or liars like that dealer.

All I bought at the funshow were two nice .50 caliber ammo cans and fifteen very good FAL aluminum mags @$4.50 each.

If you'd like some e-mail me, [email protected].  I bet the owner will give me a bulk deal.  He had at least 60 of them last week.  He also had about 20 that looked like 98-99% for $17+tax.

I'd like to take you up on that. However, Christmas has broken me this year.

This sounds like a good deal amhsix. Especially if you can do a bulk deal discount in addition to the already good price. If you are still up on this, i'm in.
BTW, feel free to back out as well from your offer. With the holiday approaching fast, most of us don't have enough time do "other" stuff, but if you can "facilitate" a good deal for some of us mag-hungry folks more power to ya.
Thanks,

I have money, and as long as I can sell them, I don't mind doing it. (Don't make an request if you can't afford too.)

When I first saw them I thought about selling them on e-bay for $15, but wasn't sure if they were that good.

Does someone have a pic of a 85% mag so I'm not describing them wrong.

Thanks!

I am good for 4. for me the finish doesnt really matter at this price. It's the condition of the welds, the absence of dings or the crakless feedlips that count. So i'm in. I don't mind waiting either. Email me or post here when you have it and let me know where to send the dough:)
And thanks a bunch!!!

YOU CAN WALK AROUND OUR DEAD WISCONSIN GUN SHOWS AND SEE 30RD MAGS ALL DAY LONG WITH 50% FINISH TRYING TO GET $25-$30 EACH

BUT THEY NEVER SELL (the stupid pollacks are so stubborn they would rather sit there for the rest of their lives than grow up and MOVE A PRODUCT!)

We also have a STD KAC RAS dealer who wants $350 for an RAS and $550 for a Surefire foregrip- they haven't woken up smelled the coffee and realized that the internet lets us find deals.

meanwhile I have given up going to shows (all I do is walk around with a high perforemance gun and let everyone handle it and criticize it when they are selling Hi-point 9's) and I always sell on the internet so I'm through letting 1000 people get their hands on my guns

Six,
See what you've done!!!!
Re boxes - pick up those put-together boxes from the P.O. Then just stuff with newspaper. That's how most of my mags came to me. Incidentally, the last mag i bought was for my 9mm colt and the gent i bought it from wrote "25 rnd 9mm" outside the box LOL. Please don't do that!!!
I know its a rotten time to be at the P.O. too. But all in all, your timing could not have been worse  with Christmas right around the corner LOL.
But you are a standup dude for doin this!!

WHERE AM I GOING TO GET THE BOXES TO SHIP All THESE MAGS???  [>(]

Go to USPS.COM, you can find Priority Mail boxes in the Supplies section (you may have to look around) but I just got 25 6x6x6 boxes in the mail last week... best of all they're free.  There are several sizes of boxes available.

I agree with you completely. I went to a gunshow today in Minnesota; same story. Nothing but strange looking people selling everything under the sun at a 20% markup. Of course some people are always willing to pay. Me...I buy from reputable companies over the internet, tax free.
