Finally finished, an inexpensive camo paint. It isn't a custom build...

I used Krylon primer (1 can $3) and Krylon "Special Purpose - Camouflage Paint" (2 cans $7) printed a digital stencil from online and cut it myself.

BEFORE

AFTER

I don't think it's too bad for $20.

Where did you download the stencil at?

TacticalCamo Custom Pattern and Stencil Generator

I made a black and white stencil printed and then cut it into a piece of scrap card paper (from the back of a brochure I think).

Looks great. I hate to be a dumbass but, did you have to disassemble or just throw down ? I am thinking of this type of finish for an old beater I have my eye on.

Looks cool. Let us know if the paint melts or peals off the barrel.

NT did a "urban camo" job on a gun once.  Though he didn't use any paint!

Please don't do that stuff in the AR forum, save it for GD.

**************UPDATE************

Shot 220 rounds through the Krylon Camo rifle on Sunday and I am pleased to say the finish suffered no ill effects.

In fact the rapid heating of the bbl and cooling seems to have hardened the paint on the bbl.
