I'm having trouble locating some tracer rounds, either in bulk or at a good price. I love this site and have been lurking around for a week or two waiting to have something to say. I will be getting a new toy in a week or so and I will post a pic for all of you. I have checked a lot of the ammo links that you have and there are some smokin deals but none on tracers. I'm also looking for tracers in .22 Lr for my lil plinkers. Thanks.hug.gif

Walt, welcome to the boards!  From what I've seen, tracers aren't going to be cheap regardless of where you buy or how many.  Obviously, the more you buy, the better deal you should get, but that is not always the case.  Usually, .30-40 cents/rd is the going rate right now.  Depending on what type barrel you have is going to dictate costs on the tracers....older barrels use the red tipped M196 type, where the new faster twist barrels use orange tipped M856.  Get into reloading and buy the bullets yourself and save the money, that's what I do.  I save the original boxed or delinked tracer for a "rainy day" as I call it.  Hope this helps...Tommy.

I bought some from Ammoman.  I bought the combo pack 1000k of XM193 and 100 tracers.  It only came out to .30 per tracer.  I was a good buy and I think he will have it again when he gets more XM193.
