| Excuse my ignorance, but I'm brand new to AR-15's. I'd like to know if there is any difference between the .223 cartridge and the NATO 5.56; my understanding is that the 5.56 is simply loaded to a higher pressure. If a rifle is chambered for the .223 should you refrain from 5.56 ammo? Conversely, is OK to use .223 ammo in a 5.56 chambered gun? Thanks for your help. |
