The upper rec is a DPMS

If you're in a hurry, I'd reconsider this option.  I've been waiting close to 10 weeks for a simple lightweight 16" barrel assembly.


For dedicated .22LR short barrels, I'd suggest Rick Kuehl.   I exchanged emails with him a while back trying to get a 16" and he seems to be a very stand up guy.   Too bad he's not making longer barrels anymore, but his site still shows 5" and 7.5" barrels available.

Well worth the wait for the KKF barrel
I have a 16 incher that shoots less than .5 inch groups at 50 yrds and
nails 12 guage shotgun hulls standing up at 125 yrds.
Sometimes I cant make up my mind what to use on the nutrats
the 10/22 or the AR

It was calculated @ 2188 rpm

It was a bone stock (no mods)  JAC M16 kit without the antibounce weight. thats what made the ROF so high
