Can someone post a good picture of this mod that they have done or a shot of a CMMG factory CH showing how much of the channel is filled in?
I have some JB Weld and I'd like to do this on my ST-22.

Not being flippant - fill the channel, insert your charging hande, insert your converison kit, and charge once.

Then remove everything, wipe up whatever excess there was, and let it dry....

What is this "conversion kit" you speak of?
The ST-22 is a .22 LR upper.

I'm interested in the channel.
The CH doesn't need a place for the gas key.
There is no gas system, it's straight blowback.

Fine.  Fill your CH with jb-weld, install it, reinstall your bolt, charge once.  Remove bolt and CH, wipe off excess inside the upper.  Let dry.

Thanks. That's what I'm looking for.
Can I get a closer shot of the front end looking down the handle?

Don't they have some little "kicker" tab in the nose?

I'd like to just mold the CH, not really keen on gacking up the BCG and upper with J&B.
