after firing the .22 kit, should you replace the AR bolt and fire a couple 5.56 round to clear the gas tube or clean it first then do this?

Does it matter? You can shoot .22 for weeks at a time, and then when you drop in your 5.56 bolt, wouldnt that first couple rounds clear the tube same as if you did them immediately after shooting .22?



Ive never had any issues....the only .22 issues Im having right now are FTEs I had today...

It only take about 1000 rounds of .22lr in my setup to cause the .223 to short stroke.

So I do put a few rounds of .223 through mine after shooting .22lr that day so that my AR is operational as a .223 rifle when I bring it home.
