What kind of accuracy can I expect with one of these drop in kits? I'm not looking for bench gun accuracy, but are they good enough for plinking? Say, shooting a 2" target at 30 - 50 yards?
Thanks

I hit golf balls easily at 50 yards with my Ciener equipped Bushmaster.

Depends on barrel twist and ammo.
See SpecOps' sticky.
In general, at least minute of pop can to 50-60yd or more.
42 seconds too slow, arrrgh!!!

I'll be shooting thru my Stag upper. 16" 1/9 twist.

A great deal depends on the barrel and the ammo. Some of the 1:9" AR's I've built shoot conversions well
and others don't. 40 grain Standard Velocity Ammo would be a good place to start. use bulk Federal or
Winchester 333 when your not serious.

my cmmg stainless kit with cci miniMAGs will hit a 4" steal plate at just under a 100 yards, as fast as I can pull the trigger.
