I'm thinking about getting a .22lr Ceiner kit for my AR, and am curious about the accuracy without a dedicated upper. I don't expect super tight groups at 100yds, but would still like to hit the sillouette's out near that range. Thanks.

Haven't shot mine at 100 yards, but I get about 2" at 25 with iron sights, and about that at 50 yards with a scope.

If you're talking human-sized silhouettes you should be OK, but keep in mind that the .22LR will have about 1 ft of drop at 100 if you don't adjust the sights.

I currently use an Army M-261 .22lr conversion with an Oly 16" 1-14 upper that I use only for .22lr.  I get about 1-2" open sites at 50 yards depending on ammo and rate of fire. If I'm rested and careful I can keep it under an inch at 50.  In other words about the same accuracy as an off the shelf bottom of the line 1022.
