[ARCHIVED THREAD] - .308 Kit?

Where can I buy a .308 rifle kit and stripped lower? Is there one to stay away from or that is better than others?

When i got interested in semi auto 308's I priced individual parts out and came to the conclusion that it would be cheeper and less of a hassel to just buy a complete rifle from Armalite. I did see where CMMG has a 308 lower coming out that takes G3 mags, and DPMS uppers but it's a little steep at 500.00 for a stripped lower.
