I now the upper receivers arnt, but are the armalite AR-10 barrels interchangeable with dpms? IE can I get a chrome lined ar-10 barrel and use it to build up a DMPS based rifle? Does anyone even sell 16" chrome lined .308 barrels (I know armalite makes one)? what about RRA, anyone know if their upper receivers and barrels are compatiable with either the DPMS or the armalite? i doubt the whole upper is obviously, but what about the barrel? |

constructor, are armalite ar-10 barrels interchangeable with DPMS or with RRA .308's? who sells jsut the barrels? ETA: just found our armalite sells exaclty what I want as far as barrels. 16" chrome lined, midweight-ish, with a2 sight.  now if I could build up an RRA receiver that takes FAL mags, Id be all set. so can anyone tell me, will the RRA take the same barrels? will they be selling receivers? I will probly call them tommorw, but patience is a virtue I lack.  apparenlty so is search-fu, I couldnt find my answers in the million threads about the RRA.
