I had struck up a conversation with a fellow AR owner, and we both wondered if there had been a conversion kit for .45 ACP.

Numerous and well known are the 9mm kits, but we were both looking for alittle more push. My first shot at the internet came up with little, so I figured I would extend my plea to the multitudes.

Appriciated.

1.  Start stashing greasegun mags and .45 ammo.

2.  Get a .45 buffer and magwell adapter: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=25&t=412446

3.  Get an Olympic .45 ACP upper.

4.  Get a CavArms or ArmaLite Poly15 lower receiver.

5.  Blast away!

Everybody's got their favorites in this category, which is a good thing because it tells you that all the common configurations currently extant work.

Oly top w/standard lower and Uzi mag on the left; Oly top on a BAZ45 using grease gun mag on the right.

CMMG is now selling complete refurbished Oly .45s (can't link as their website appears to be down right now).
