I got the Olympic .45 upper and a Rock River Arms lower receiver.
I've fired a few dozen rounds or more through it and noticed something. With Winchester Winclean FMJ I have no problems with the action but with Lawman, I notice that the action doesn't fully return forward cambering another round. If I push the action forward with my finger through the port, I will eventually slide forward enough to chamber another rounds. Switching back to the Winclean, seemed to solve this again. My question is: Is the Lawman just dirty ammo or should I install a more robust action spring? Best Regards, Archer |

lawman could be weaker ammo, or you have a tight chamber I could see this if the action was not going back far enough to allow a round to be chambered, but the action is going all the way back to the stops. For the 2nd part, the action stops sliding forward before it gets to the round, far enough back that I can look into the chamber. |
