| I currently run a standard buffer with my 16" midlength. Will this be fine for the Beowulf? |
|
I don't know alot about buffer springs/weights so I really can't answer.
The first stock I put on my Wulf was an ACE skeleton stock and it wouldn't run. It seemed like the spring wasn't "tight" enough. I swaped it out with the A2 stock on my.223 and now it runs just fine. |
| If you are going to run a carbine buffer tube, I would upgrade your buffer to an H2. I have H2s running on both of my Beowulfs and they work great. Also, if you have a cheaper commercial buffer tube, I would upgrade it to a mil-spec buffer tube since I have seen a couple cheap commercial ones break right around the castlenut threads from the recoil over time. |
| Right now Im running a Larue milspec tube with a standard carbine weight buffer and a super duty chrome silicon buffer spring with a LMT SOPMOD stock..I was thinking of getting a CTR stock with the enhanced butpad for the wulf. I might try the H2 buffer but just out of curriosity what would be wrong with using the carbine weight buffer exactly? |
