I have owned a Bushmaster DCM and sold it before I used it much because I need the $. My uncle shot competition AR and I have wanted to get back into it with him. I know there are a million things you can do to build a nice competition rifle. My question: Is the DCM really a good match competition rifle? I know it has the weight, heavy barrel and two-stage trigger...But has anyone used one much? If so, were you pleased with it's perfomace? I know that human error causes a lot of people to say their gun isn't right and so on, but I'm just interested in how this particular rifle performs. Thanks

I shoot an M1a in competition but I know plenty of guys who shoot AR's. I would go with White Oak Armament if I ever wanted to make the switch.
