i have a acog mounted to my rra, its mounted with the mount that came with it, if i remove it, and place it back in the same place, how far off will the zero be if any

If you mount it in the exact same rail slot, you should be close.
Usually within a two inches at a hundred yards or so.
If you want a true almost perfect "return to zero" mount that QD's, get the LaRue mount.

Most mounts will guarantee 1/2 to 1 MOA repeatability.
This is on windage, you elevation setting should not change.

I just put my ACOG on top of an A4 build but have decided to hold off sighting it in until I get a LaRue mt. I don't see any reason for zeroing then re-zeroing.
