First let me say thanks to everyone here i have learned so much reading the posts, I'm not a total noob but the info here is outstanding. That being said  I am currently waiting on my RRA stripped lower and a RRA lpk and I have seen posts about installing the trigger guard and breaks. I have also seen a couple of theories on how to install, since this is my first build just wondering is there a best way to install or do I have to just be careful. Thanks in advance.

Just make sure you support the ears of the receiver correctly.  I think the problem comes when they're not supported fully and someone applies force.  Put some lube on the roll pin and the lower as well, and have a good block of wood supporting it.  Don't bang on it more than it needs also.

ETA: follow the directions in this and you'll be fine:

Get a MIAD with the integral trigger guard.

Or if you don't want to do that, use padded vice grips or small c-clamp.

As long as you pay attention and make sure the ears are supported, you should have no problems.  If you look at how your doing it, it will be obvious if your ears are spoorted or not.  I can't imagine breaking an ear off in any way that it didn't look like it could break if you had looked at it prior to tapping.
