Cabela's has the aimpoint 7000sc for $300. I've never heard of this model. Is it a new model? Anybody own one?The price seems good.

Yes, it is a good scope at a good price...I carry one as a back-up to my Trijicon TA11...Others will recommend the Aimpoint CompM models ...but as a preference I like 2 ring mounts instead of just 1....again it's just a preference.

I have an SC on a Ruger 77RSI. Uses two rings. The SC is for short action guns. The 7000 is for long action guns. Nice optic, seems as good as my CompM.

I have a 7000L I bought from Cabelas last year.It works really good.I upgraded to a M2 so now I'm going to sell the 7000l.
