| what is as good as (and the same hight) a LaRue LT-150 to mount a aim point ML-2 to the upper on a AR so it will cowitness ? it doe's not need to be fancy, just the right hight. it doe's not need to be a quick disconect. it will be mounted and left on the weapon permantly. I thought if I could find a 30 mm tactical ring with the correct hight that would be perfect . I have been told the LaRue was the best ,but all I need is a strong mount with the correct hight and no frills or fancy quick disconect cantalever. if anyone has done this let me know . It's not that I'm cheap ,but my funds are short and I need to watch every penny ,this BRD has me broke most of the time . |

Keep a eye out on the equipment exchange , a used LaRue Mount just sold for 90.00. If it was me i would save up and order a new LaRue mount , if i could not find a good used one. I know they are cheaper mounts out there , but none of them will hold a candle to a LaRue Mount.. You get what you pay for .. |

Since you are not concerned with removing the aimpoint, just get an extra high scope ring. Here's a link, $25 delivered. Burris extreme scope mount rings. If you don't need quick release, why pay the extra $90 for it? Get what YOU need, not what everyone else thinks you need. |
